Wilderness Programs

Sorenson’s Ranch School is a therapeutic learning environment located in Koosharem, UT. The ranch environment helps teens focus on the issues that they are experiencing and learn many important life lessons.

Sorenson’s Ranch School is comparable to a wilderness therapy program. At the Ranch students are given the opportunity to work on an actual ranch and learn from experiential learning. Wilderness programs often don’t have an educational portion with them. Sorenson’s Ranch has a fully accredited educational program. Many students come to Sorenson’s behind in school. The opportunity to go to school year round and work with teachers individually assists students at the Ranch make up past credits and get back on track to get a high school diploma.
